摘要
Currently, it is a prevailing phenomenon that too much emphasis has been put on grammar rather than communication in Japanese teaching, which leads to the inadequacy in students' communicative competence. As a result, the application of the communicative approach should be strengthened. This thesis discusses the problems existing in students' communicative competence and puts forward some strategies for the application of the communicative approach in Japanese teaching.
