In-situ studies of interface boundary layer structure in solution crystal growth

摘要
In-situ structure studies of the interface boundary layers in crystal growth of ammonium, potassium dihydrogen and potassium dideuterium phosphates have been performed by using laser holography and Raman microprobe between 200 and 1400cm(-1). Within the stable characteristic boundary layers, all O-P-O bond angles are found to appear significant changes. The Significant Raman bands of P-O-H out of plane and in plane deformations, and the P=O-2 asymmetric stretch bands of the H2PO4-, which are closer to those of the crystal appear respectively. Evidence is presented for the electronic density redistribution and the readjustment of geometry of anionic phosphate groups. The results are the forming of the smectic ordering structure of the solution at the proximate interface.
