摘要
A novel design is investigated here on Tetrahedral DRA where loaded monopole is attached with edge metal plate performed for Ultra-wide-band. The proposed geometry offers a dual frequency band of 2.9-4.6 GHz and 7.1-20 GHz for reflection coefficient i.e. S-11<-10 dB, while the simulated result offers 7.1 dB gain and 90 % efficiency in overall frequency band. This antenna is a composition of microstrip coupled feed, monopole loading for broadband and edge metallization. The dielectric material FR-4 (epsilon(r) = 4.3) and Rogers TMM (epsilon(r) = 9.2) is used for substrate and Tetrahedral DRA respectively. The simulated results are analyzed, both on HFSS and CST transient's solvers by showing graphical comparison between assigned antenna parameters.
