Influence of the Twist Rate Under Quasi-Hydrostatic Pressure on the Texture and Secondary Phase Particles in Bi(Pb)2223 Ceramics

摘要
The influence of the twist rate of torsion under quasi-hydrostatic pressure on the phase composition, microstructure, and texture of superconducting Bi(Pb)2223-based ceramics is investigated at temperature D cent = 865A degrees C. It is established that a decrease in the twist rate leads to the displacement of the maxima of texture strength and of the secondary phase particle size toward smaller twist angles. The intergrowth of Bi(Pb)2223 matrix phase plates into (Sr, Ca)(14)Cu24O41 particles leading to the reduction of particle sizes is revealed. The reduction of (Sr, Ca)(14)Cu24O41 particle sizes correlates with the development of dynamic recrystallization of the matrix phase, which is confirmed by the texture weakening.
