摘要
Performance evaluation often involves the use of queueing network models. In this paper we present the tool WinPEPSY-QNS for performance evaluation and prediction based on such queueing networks. It consists of a graphical and a textual editor to construct queueing networks and an easy-to-use evaluation component, which offers suitable analysis methods. The performance results can be visualized by various graphical representations. WinPESY-QNS can analyse product-form and non-product-form queueing networks. For product-form networks the mean value analysis (MVA) and methods for Jackson, BCMP and Markovian networks are implemented. For non-product-form networks the methods of Marie, Chylla or discrete event simulation can be chosen. The discrete event simulation and Markov analysis of WinPEPSY-QNS are also very helpful to validate the obtained results.
