摘要
In this paper, a comparative analysis is done for same frame induction and synchronous reluctance motors. Assessment is based on real tests that considers motor efficiency, frequency converter efficiency and a total efficiency of the motor drive system. The results show that used in the tests motors have a similar performance, that means for several applications cheaper synchronous reluctance motor could be used instead of relatively mature AC induction motor.
