Thought of Several Data Import Approaches in ORACLE Database

Data is the system blood in public security emergency response system, according to the demand of public security emergency response system, effective data acquisition and organization is a basic work in system operation. To take ORACLE database for an example, this paper investigated several basic ideas about data acquisition and organization. In view of several data import approaches, it could be found that all approaches had limitations. According to some practices in the project, when data amount was small and data error rate was low, the effect was good by using these data import approaches. Finally, in order to be up to the structural consistency with the inside database tables, data entry software was developed by using Microsoft ACCASS database, for limiting the numeric field constraint before loaded, according to database specification requirements. These could make data import into database successively at the first time and promote data emergency response update rate.
