Solvation and state of acetonitrile, propylene carbonate, and nitromethane molecules in propanol and butanol isomers and in their mixtures with water at 298.15 K

摘要
The enthalpies of dissolution of acetonitrile, nitromethane, and propylene carbonate in 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, 2-methyl-1-1-propanol, 2-methyl-2-propanol, and in their mixtures with water were measured. The effect of isomerism and solvent composition on the enthalpies of solvation of the nonelectrolytes under study was discussed. The resulting thermochemical data were used for examining variations in the compositions of the solvation shells of the compounds with the composition of the mixture.
