摘要
Today, there is a great change in wireless technology due to which there is an increase in demand of hand held devices. More the technology updates, a more need for miniaturized antenna with better efficiency and bandwidth can be observed. A Coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed antenna with comb shaped structure for satellite communication is proposed. The antenna presented here has dimensions of 101mm x 36.6mm. The antenna is to be fabricated on 0.5cm of top surface of RT/Duroid substrate with epsilon r=2.2 & tan delta=0.0009. Simulation results are to be performed using IE3D simulator. The antenna has peak resonance at 4GHz frequency which makes it suitable. The fractional bandwidth of an antenna shows 1.5%. The antenna achieves peak gain of 10 dBi.
