摘要
The COST Action 836 - Integrated Research in Berries - included an European network for strawberry cultivar evaluation. Within the framework of this co-operation, strawberry cultivar trials were established in 17 different countries, including Denmark, Sweden and Finland in the Nordic Countries. Three sets, covering a total of 28 cultivars, were tested in 1999 to 2003. Two years' testing time is insufficient for establishing the fitness of the cultivars in the given environment. However, this cultivar evaluation highlighted some cultivars that could be worthy of attention in the Nordic Countries. Cultivars 'Florence', 'Kimberly', 'Vima Zanta', 'Filon', 'Madeleine(R)' and 'Alice' scored best for Total General Values.
