摘要
N,N'-Bis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]thiourea, employed at only 1 mol% loading, was found to be a very effective catalyst for the oxidation of sulfides with tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP), affording the sulfoxides in high yield, excellent chemoselectivity, fairly good diastereoselectivity.
