摘要
This article explores the characteristics of gentrification and socio-spatial exclusion processes emerged with urban revitalization projects; those ones are launched under the neoliberal city model. In order to study Mexico City's context, we did a documentar research including the analysis of several instruments, public policies among other government programs dating from 2000. These have entailed an urban development characterized by an insufficient construction of social housing and a luxury real estate boom. This analysis shows that the association between public authorities and private interests has produced conditions of marked inequality. This poses the question upon the right to he city and the right to housing for marginalized or low-income populations that are symbolically or de facto displaced.
