摘要
Team and individual capability in the software testing depends heavily on the maturity level in the conducting a software testing activities. This paper is the result of qualitative research in comparing software testing maturity frameworks that has been proposed by some researchers. In the context of software process improvement, interesting results obtained when more in-depth evaluation between TMMi, TPI Next, and Test SPICE 3.0. This paper presents comparisons between these three frameworks that are equivalent to process reference models and have their own best practices. These three frameworks can be considered to be used as an improvement in the software testing process, with the trade off in the selecting of either one. In addition, a summary of the chosen frameworks implementation examples is also given. The results of this study are very important as a reference for the organization in preparing software capability roadmap in software testing.
