Photocatalytic decomposition of water into H-2 and O-2 over novel photocatalyst K3Ta3Si2O13 with pillared structure consisting of three TaO6 chains

摘要
The novel catalysts of native and NiO-loaded K3Ta3Si2O13 with pillared structure consisting of three linear TaO6 chains showed luminescence and high photocatalytic activities for the decomposition of distilled water into H-2 and O-2 in stoichiometric amounts under UV irradiation.
