摘要
Unrepeatered 80Gbit/s RZ single channel transmission over 160km of standard singlemode fibre at 1.55 mu m involving the use of passive compensation of the dispersion and dispersion-slope is reported. Error-free transmission (BER = 10(-9)) with a receiver sensitivity of -22dBm and a wavelength tolerance of 10nm has been achieved.
