Control chaos in fractional-order system via two kinds of intermittent schemes

摘要
Chaos is undesirable in a great variety of practical applications, therefore it is of momentous current significance to control the chaotic oscillation. In this paper, two kinds of intermittent schemes are proposed to control the chaos existed in a fractional-order system. The variables for feedback controlling are sampled intermittently by using Heavside function. Numerical analyses confirm that the presented schemes are effective and one can control this fractional-order chaotic system to arbitrary periodical orbit by selecting appropriate thresholds and gain coefficients.
