摘要：

Continuous development of educational and research technologies lead to the necessity of implementing a television network dedicated to education and research activities. In this respect, there are technologies like video-conference and multimedia systems which offer accessible solutions. The present paper describes the infrastructure and the protocols for this kind of television and possible implications of it in educational and research activities initiated within Alexandru Joan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania.
