摘要
A new compact neutron generator based on D-D or D-T fusion reaction is developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. In this work, the applicability of the 2.5 or 14 MeV neutrons for BNCT application was studied. The neutron spectrum optimized with MCNP simulations for BNCT is presented in this paper. Medical application of another subcompact neutron generator will also be discussed.
