摘要
An analytical solution for the vibration analysis of a coupled cylindrical shell-plate structure is presented. The analytical model is based on the so-called Spectro-Geometric Method (SGM), which is a meshless and parametric modeling technique for general vibration analysis. The compatibility conditions along the plate and cylindrical shell structures' junctions are generally described in terms of three-dimensional elastic couplers with both translational and rotational stiffnesses. The flexural and in-plane displacement fields on the plate and cylindrical shell can be sought as a new and simple form of trigonometric series expansion to ensure (improve) the uniform convergence (rate) of the series expansion. The unknown series expansion coefficients are treated as the generalized coordinates and determined using the familiar Rayleigh-Ritz procedure. By using the current approach, coupled cylindrical shell-plate with general boundary restraints, arbitrary coupling conditions and arbitrary geometry parameters can be solved in a unified form. The accuracy and reliability of the present method are validated by comparing with finite element method (FEM) solutions and those in the literature, and excellent agreements are obtained.
