摘要
In this paper, the traditional split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) technique is used to dynamically load the sample so as to study the dynamic properties of PBX. The experimental results indicate that SHPB is a valid loading technique for PBX, but this technique cannot reach high loading rate or strain rate due to the mechanical character of PBX. The results show that the mechanical properties of PBX depend on strain rate, with an increase of strain rate, the compressive strength increases, but the critical strain decreases.
