摘要：
Anorexia nervosa usually begins in adolescence and is associated with the highest mortality rate of any psychiatric disorder. New information about the possible causes is now available. Evidence-based treatment with family therapy has improved prognosis considerably. Effective prevention strategies are urgently needed but are not yet available.
