摘要
Nanoindentation technique was employed to characterize the mechanical properties of TiN coatings deposited on highspeed steel and stainless steel substrates. Effects of thickness and substrate on the mechanical properties were investigated. The results show that TiN coatings exhibit different mechanical properties corresponding to the variation in thickness and substrate.
