摘要：

The paper presents some of the features of the labour market in Romania and the impact of the economic crisis on these. It aims to identify problems facing the labour market in Romania, in the current European context in order to find sustainable development solutions. The current crisis has reinforced some existing imbalances in the Romanian labour market, requiring additional efforts to achieve a level of development of labour market like the Western countries. In this situation, strategies and policies for employment in Romania must be developed in line with the other macro-economic and European strategies and policies.
