摘要
This paper presents the design and implementation of communication and control infrastructure for smart grid test-bed operation. The proposed infrastructure enhances the reliability of the measurements and control network. The Data Distribution Services is used as a communication middleware. In order to facilitate interoperability and remote access to the test-bed, a toolbox and API interface for the test-bed infrastructure were developed. This interface allows control, monitor and performing experiments remotely. Also, it could be used to integrate multidiscipline test-beds to study complex Cyber Physical Systems. The proposed infrastructure was tested experimentally in the hardware/software based Smart Grid Testbed at Florida International University (FIU).
