摘要
A Keggin-type polyoxometalate (POM) 12-tungstocobaltate (II) ([Co-II(W12O40)](6-)) has been used as a catalyst for the oxidation of aliphatic and benzylic alcohols to the corresponding carbonyl compounds. The reduced ( POM) formed in the oxidation of alcohols is re-oxidized by potassium peroxomonopersulphate.
