摘要
Leaky Coaxial (LCX) cable is a line-shaped antenna which utilizes huge number of slots to transmit or receive wireless signal. Due to its changeable shape and uniform, stable radiation characteristics along cable, LCX cable has been largely used for wireless coverage over many scenarios such as linear-cell environments and any irregular shape of coverage. In addition, by opening and closing (On/Off) partial slots, LCX cable can largely increase the total number of channel patterns, which means the huge capacity of spatial modulation (SM). However, due to large number of slots, it's difficult to find the efficient SM set to send B bits which includes 2(B) channel patterns with the largest Euclidean distance among all channel patterns. In this paper, we propose an efficient channel pattern selection based on genetic algorithm (GA) which shows better set distance than that of using random selection method.
