摘要
In today's modern world of technology, design and manufacturing at micro level require more accurate and defect free machining devices. Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) has been developed as an alternative solution for micro machining of materials with high accuracy and precision which has high application in aerospace, automobile and biomedical industries. The temperature distribution has a major influence on machining efficiency and surface quality during EDM. The discharge location is strongly related to temperature field distribution. FE modelling of m-EDM is carried out using analysis software to predict MRR and Temperature field. The modelled results are experimentally verified. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
