摘要:
Three obstacles in particular hamper the development of the progress of the system-on-a-chip technology: lack of a unifying language for the hardware and software components; design verification fast becoming more arduous than doing the design itself; and climbing gate counts and chip frequencies. These concerns are being attacked by startup companies led by a few individuals with big ideas and a little seed money. New design platforms have been developed and verification options been broadened.
