摘要
Type Ia supernovae are the most reliable distance indicators at cosmological distances, and provided the first evidence that the expansion of the Universe is currently accelerating. In this talk, I review techniques for deriving distances from optical and near-infrared light curves, and discuss complications to pushing the precision to the level required for future dark energy missions.
