摘要
The purpose of this paper is two fold. Firstly, it presents the design and implementation of a low voltage (LV) bulk driven second generation current conveyor (BD-CCII). The BD-CCII operating at supply voltage of +/- 0.5V has been simulated using TSMC 180nm standard CMOS technology. CMOS characteristic performance of the bulk driven second generation current conveyor capable of ultra low voltage analog signal processing applications has been explored using PSPICE. This realized BD-CCII shows significantly improved DC transfer characteristics and AC performance over the available bulk driven CCII cells in the recent literature. Such second generation bulk driven current conveyor (BD-CCII) circuits find applications in various fields, especially bioelectronics and biomedical where circuits operating at low voltage, low power and low frequency (LF) are required for portability and implantation. As an example the active block has been utilized to realize a first order current-mode all-pass filter configuration.
