摘要
The cavitation erosion and erosive wear resistance of CrMnB overlayers were investigated. The results showed that the cavitation erosion and erosive wear resistance of CrMnB overlayers were better than that of 0Cr(13)Ni(5)Mo stainless steel. The microstructures of CrMnB overlayers consists of metastable austenite and boride eutectic. The high cavitation erosion and erosive wear resistance of CrMnB overlayers were attributed to the strain induced austenite to martensite transformation under repetitive cyclic impact load. This phase transformation absorbed the energy produced by impact load and increased the hardness and strength of the surface layer of CrMnB surfacing alloy. Meanwhile, a mount of boride eutectic structures along the austenite boundaries formed the 'skeletons' for wear resistance.
