摘要：

Multimedia plays more and more important role in Global as well as Chinese higher education today. In this paper, we take the course of "Western Economics" as an example to get an insight into the way to apply multimedia in higher education since the content of "Western Economics" course determines that multimedia is an ideal teaching method. Finally, Some suggestions concerning using multimedia teaching method are given in order to upgrade its teaching performance in higher education field.
