摘要
Motivation: Countering difficulties in phylogenetic inferences from amino acid sequences which due to homoplasies arising from coordinated evolution in some positions. Results: It is shown that representing of the groups of amino acids which evolve in coordinated fashion by a single residue belonging to the group increases the precision of phylogenetic analysis.
