摘要
Perioperative anaphylaxis occurs in 90% of cases during anesthesia induction. The most common trigger include neuromuscular blocking agents, natural rubber latex and antibiotics. Diagnostic workup represents a particular challenge for the treating allergologist due to multiple, often simultaneously administered drugs. Furthermore, their unambiguous registration and careful examination by appropriate skin tests is of utmost importance. The case presented here illustrates that perioperative anaphylaxis can occur even in very young patients without previous contact to the culprit drug, thus requiring a differentiated evaluation.
