摘要
This paper presents a coupling scheme of level set method(LSM) and finite element method(FEM) to analyze the dynamic performance of electromagnet with moving parts. Remesh process is necessary to analyze the dynamics of moving object using standard FEM. To reduce remesh process, LSM is coupled with FEM. LSM is useful for analysis of moving objects or propagating models depending on both time and space in fixed mesh. In this paper, we proposed the material setting technique of mover using level set function. We figure out a magnetic force and torque from energy and then calculate the displacement of moving part by solving the state variable equation which consists of a dynamic equation and a circuit equation. To validate a proposed algorithm, we adopted the simple hinged electromagnet model with moving arm.
