摘要
In this work, metamaterials are adapted for optimal design of filters with specific characteristics that are useful for sensor applications. The random hill climbing optimization method is used to find optimal structures. Periodic method of moments is applied to calculate the fitness functions of the resulted structures from random hill climbing (RHC) optimizer. One of the optimum structures is fabricated and the measured results are compared with PMOM outputs. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
