摘要
The Indonesian Renal Registry (IRR) states that in 2015 there were 30,554 active dialysis patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) which is a failure of kidney function to maintain metabolism, fluid and electrolyte balance. In the dialysis process, there is a necessary process called ultrafiltration which uses negative pressure dialysate, which is regulated by using a pump to control the flow rate of the dialysate. This study aimed to develop a method of controlling the flow of dialysate fluid in the ultrafiltration process on a hemodialysis machine. A fuzzy logic controller is used in the system to control the pump based on the flow sensor feedback, and there is also a valve opening and closing mechanism in the chamber using a timer that is adjusted every cycle. The results of a dialysate flow control system using fuzzy logic controller as a pump controller produce an oscillating flow rate at the set point and following the desired range between 300 - 600ml/min, with an error of 2.4%. Moreover, the opening and closing valve mechanism has an accuracy rate of time to work for one cycle with the average Error of 2.075%.
