摘要
NiZn ferrite particles were prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis with a mixed solution of aqueous metal nitrates. A nanoporous structure of the NiZn ferrite particles was observed by electron microscopy. The structure formed with nanosized primary particles of about 10 nm or less before annealing, which showed paramagnetic behaviour measured at 77 K and room temperature. The typical abnormal intraparticle growth like polyhedral primary particles was observed by annealing at 1000 degreesC with a dependency on Zn concentration. The NiZn ferrite particles showed a magnetization of over 19 emu/g and coercivity of over 550 Oe at a low temperature below 50 K due to the magnetic behaviour of the nanostructured primary particles. Mossbauer studies showed that the NiZn ferrite particles as prepared before annealing had a paramagnetic ratio of about 44%, but a normal ferrimagnetic structure after annealing at 1000 degreesC.
