摘要
This paper deals with the societal risk due to landslides in the Campania Region (Southern Italy). To this end, F similar to N curves are generated by using historical data of the fatal landslides which have occurred over the whole Region as well as in three homogeneous geo-environmental contexts, where the most destructive phenomena can occur. The results obtained show that the societal risk due to landslides in the Region is very high. Moreover, the analysis of the incident data clearly highlights the most prone areas to catastrophic events, so turning out to be useful to public Authorities in charge of the landslide risk mitigation strategies by emergency plans and warning systems.
