The aim of this note is to point out the error in the existing method [J.-X. Nan, M.-J. Zhang and D.-F. Li, A methodology for matrix games with payoffs of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number, Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, DOI: 10.3233/IFS-130956] and to suggest the required modifications to resolve this error.
