摘要
Prenatal exposure to maternal smoking is an independent risk factor for several health disorders in offspring. Because, each year, millions of infants have been exposed in utero to maternal smoking during pregnancy world-wide, quitting smoking, preferably before conception, may have a major positive public health impact on the next generation's health.
