Numerical Simulation of Shock-Wave Interaction with a Laminar Boundary Layer in a Hypersonic Flow around Models with a Kink in the Generatrix

摘要
A series of experimental data obtained at the Calspan-University at Buffalo Research Center (CUBRC) and accompanying numerical calculations performed by members of the computer code testing working group were used to validate the author's PERAT-2D computer code. The problems of a hypersonic flow of molecular nitrogen around a sharp and blunt cone with a kink in the generatrix, as well as around a hollow cylinder with a sharp edge and an expanding skirt, are considered.
