摘要
The effect of sepiolite loading on curing characteristics and tensile properties of sepiolite filled Natural Rubber/Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SMR L/SBR) blends was studied. Scorch and cure times reduced with increasing sepiolite loading whereas minimum and maximum torques increased. The tensile strength and elongation at break exhibited maximum values at 3 phr of sepiolite loading but tensile modulus (M100 and M300) exhibited an increasing trend. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) on tensile fractured surfaces of sepiolite filled SMR L/SBR blends also exhibited better-filled dispersion at 3 phr of sepiolite loading as compared with other filler loadings.
