摘要
An equation for calculating the equivalent conductivity, lambda(0), of an infinitely dilute electrolyte is proposed, which is based on an analysis of the known expressions for lambda(0). The equation allows for specific features of primary and secondary hydration: it was derived taking into account that, as a result of primary hydration, the ion moves together with several water molecules, while as a result of secondary hydration, the ion environment becomes less viscous. The fact that the ion mobility is affected by both the hydraulic and dielectric constituents of friction is also taken into consideration. The results of calculations conducted with this equation are in sufficiently good agreement with the experimental data.
