摘要
Porous polymers (beads with 0.40-1.0 mm in diameter) based on ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, diethylene glycol dimethacrylate and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate prepared via suspension radical polymerization in the presence of toluene and n-butyl acetate used as inert media were investigated. Samples of crosslinked polymers were characterized (apparent and specific densities, pore volume, etc.) and investigated from the point of view of swelling at equilibrium in various solvents, which had different values of the solvent-polymer solubility parameter (delta). The average molecular weight ((M) over bar (c)) and crosslinking densities (q) were calculated from the swelling data. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
