摘要
The impulse breakdown delay of soil is significant for evaluating the lightning trip-out rate of transmission lines. This paper experimentally studied the impulse breakdown delay phenomenon of soil, the factors influencing the impulse breakdown delay phenomenon of soil are analyzed. At last, the influence of the impulse breakdown delay phenomenon of soil on the lightning protection characteristics of transmission lines is analyzed. The lightning withstand level would decrease with the increase of the soil impulse breakdown time delay.
