Dispersion polymerization of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone in supercritical carbon dioxide

摘要
The low molecular weight poly (1,1-dihydroperfluorooctyl acrylate) [poly(FOA)] was used in the dispersion polymerization of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (VP) in supercritical CO2 Increasing concentrations of poly-(FOA) yielded a decrease in particle diameter, while increasing the monomer concentration produced an increase in particle size. No significant change was observed in the particle morphology for polymerizations conducted at different pressures.
