摘要
Greenhouse farming possesses substantial potential in high-efficiency use of water, land and energy in food production. The critical issue is to develop the methodology with which greenhouse environment can be controlled following crop's requirements. A system combining greenhouse intelligent control system based on wireless sensor network (WSN) with an expert system relating crop responses to their environment was proposed. Various devices within the greenhouse were integrated to form a sub-network with wire or wireless depending on the working condition of the devices. Based on WSN, the system provides abundant installation flexibility for sensors at any location. Monitoring and controlling over the environment and status of the greenhouse are realized. The combination of WSN technology with the expert system of crop physiology created an automatic system participating in the processes of dynamically adaptive response of crops. All devices perform the controlling functions to promote the achievement of high yields of crops.
