摘要
Titanium facilitates hydrogen dissociation at the surface of sodium alanate, an extensively studied hydrogen-storage material, and diffusion of hydrogen into the bulk, according to hydrogen-isotope scrambling experiments on Ti-doped NaAlH4 (see picture). Kinetics studies indicate that the rate-limiting step of the charging/discharging process appears to be mass transfer into the solid. (Figure Presented). © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
