Positronium formation in positron-atom collisions

摘要：
Positronium formation has been the subject of extensive theoretical investigations, especially since it became possible to compare experimental results with theoretical predictions. This article describes some recent theoretical studies, mainly in the vicinity of the positronium formation threshold where accurate results for positron scattering by atomic hydrogen and helium reveal interesting structure in the elastic scattering and positronium formation cross sections.
